Mix Translator

Television networks and shows have many rules and regulations due to quality control. Because of this, these networks employ many wonderful engineers to mix their shows for consistency and peace of mind. When this happens I often still go to the shoot with the artist to be the translator between the artist and the house mixer to sort of “mix through” another engineer. I have learned how to handle these scenarios with grace so that everyone involved is happy with the finished product. Below are just a few of the performances where I was the “mix translator”.
